China overtake the United States as the largest car market in the world in 2009. Although now the car manufacturers, including Ford, have operated factories in China with a maximum capacity, the needs of the country's car orders bamboo curtain still can not be achieved due to the high demand mobile unit there.
At the beginning of this year, Ford has shown 2011 Ford Focus new generation to the public at the Detroit Auto Show 2010 or the so-called North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Latest Focus will be offered to consumers with a choice of four doors and five door (hatchback).
Ford Motor Company has also created RUTH (Robotized Unit for Tactility & Haptics) to evaluate the touch and appearance of the surface and control in a vehicle that
evaluation results obtained are not subjective but more scientific. Ford claims to be the first to use robots as RUTH, a mechanical hand-shaped robot.
Ford also announced on January 12 and that they would increase investment of U.S. $ 450 to plan their production of electric cars, in order to the construction of an assembly center hybrid cars, plug-in hybrid and electric cars in Michigan beginning in early 2012. This is the addition of Ford's plan to invest U.S. $ 550 for the removal of Michigan Assembly Plant into a modern assembly plant to produce the latest generation Ford Focus due to begin this year and the car battery is the Ford Focus Electric in 2011.
