Capstone Turbine Corporation hybrid electric car show high performance CMT-380 in the event the Los Angeles Auto Show. This car carried the microturbine technology-powered C30 is capable of 40.2 hp increase cruising range electric vehicle (EV) of traditional batteries.

Capstone Microturbines have been installed at bus-electric hybrid buses, trolleys and transit shuttle
throughout the world, including the hybrid buses which today operates in major cities in the U.S. like New York, Baltimore and Charlotte and major cities of the world such as London, Tokyo, Paris, Rome and Auckland.
"The market is not Capsone vehicle for new markets," said Capstone President & CEO Darren Jamison. "In fact, a hybrid electric vehicle applications has always been part of Capstone's vision since the company was founded in 1988. Microturbines Capstone's first designed and manufactured, integrated into automotive applications," said Jamison.
Capston CMT-380, he continued, is a fun hybrid cars with extraordinary performance. This vehicle is not a business plan to start producing Capstone complete cars. Production is limited and demo CMT-380 and Langford hybrid Whisper intended to demonstrate the technology and the proposed use as an additive microturbine distance range electric vehicle.
