5 by Peugeot Prepared for Geneva Motor Show

Two weeks away Geneva Motor Show 2010 will be held. Peugeot today released a new car pictures, called 5 by Peugeot. A new vehicle concept diesel-electric Hybrid4. 5 by Peugeot allegedly is a preview of the Peugeot 508 sedan that will come, be prepared to replace the 407 and 608 variants.

Though the figure 5 by Peugeot comes in the form ready for production, the French car manufacturer has not stated anything about this new concept is a preview of some models in its ranks. There is one thing that confirms that this vehicle was the vehicle concept, because it did not seem to be made in the production version, the design of the main lamp.

With forms like the crushed ice and use LED lighting system seems still not possible to apply to everyday life. The rest, this concept vehicle design is very realistic.

Power source 5 by Peugeot comes from diesel-electric engine system comprising Peugeot Hybrid4 of HDi FAP diesel engines power about 163hp and an electric motor mounted on the rear axle of the power contributed approximately 23kW or 31hp.

Hybrid4 system already used on some cars Peugeot and Citroen's design, including the Peugeot convertible SR1 new concept, specially cars and RCZ exhibition 3008 model, as well as hybrid versions of the rally car Citroen C4 WRC.
