Based on survey results Consumer Reports recently the reliability of cars and trucks are released to the market, Toyota dominated the most reliable car ratings.
The survey itself was conducted on 1.4 million vehicles already in the hands of consumers. From there then netted the most reliable models and models that are not reliable trbagi in several categories.
Here's the complete ranking results from the survey are:
Small cars
Most reliable: Honda Insight hybrid
Least reliable: Nissan Versa sedan
Cars for families
Most reliable: Toyota Prius hybrid
Least reliable: Chrysler Sebring
Upscale / Luxury cars
Most reliable: Infiniti M35 (rear wheel drive)
Least reliable: Jaguar XF
Sporty Coupes and convertibles
Most reliable: Lexus SC
Least reliable: Chrysler Sebring Convertible
Wagons / Minivans
Most reliable: Toyota Venza (four cylinder)
Least reliable: Chrysler Town & Country
Small sport utilities
Most reliable: Honda CR-V
Least reliable: Saturn Vue
Midsize sport utilities
Most reliable: Toyota FJ Cruiser
Least reliable: Jeep Commander
Upscale / Luxury sport utilities
Most reliable: Mercedes-Benz GLK
Least reliable: Volkswagen Touareg
Large sport utilities
Most reliable: Toyota Sequoia
Least reliable: Chevrolet Suburban 2500
Pickup trucks
Most reliable: Toyota Tundra V6
Least reliable: Chevrolet Colorado (four-wheel drive).
From the survey, Toyota / Lexus won six titles as the most reliable models, while Honda got a ration of two degrees.
